AUBURN – A Lewiston man charged with fatally stabbing another man last month will be held without bail until his trial.
Justice Joyce Wheeler issued a ruling Wednesday denying 28-year-old Ryan Muncey’s bail request.
Muncey pleaded not guilty Tuesday in the June 11 death of 26-year-old Casey Stanley, who was stabbed in a wooded area in Auburn. His attorney asked that bail be set at $25,000 cash or $100,000 in surety.
Prosecutors argued against bail, saying Muncey is a danger to the community and a flight risk.
