HOLLYWOOD SLOTS: AT A GLANCE

HOLLYWOOD SLOTS: AT A GLANCE

Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway is located at 500 Main St., across from Bass Park.

The home of Maine’s first and, so far, only slots facility, the $132 million complex will replace Hollywood Slots at Bangor, the company’s interim facility, which opened in November 2005 in the former Miller’s Restaurant building a few blocks up Main Street.

The interim slots facility will close late Sunday, at the end of the business day.

Come Tuesday, visitors to the new $132 million complex will find:

. A gaming area with 1,000 slot machines with denominations ranging from one penny to $10.

. Epic Buffet, the state’s largest at nearly half a mile, with seating for 250.

. Take 2 Snack Bar, a 20-seat eatery serving Starbucks specialties, gelato, wraps, pizzas, salads and other light fare.

. Hollywood Gifts Shop, offering a wide selection of T-shirts, mugs, glasses, hats and more as well as an array of New England-made products.

. The Sound Stage, featuring live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. The lounge, which can accommodate 60 guests, offers broadcast sports and music videos via a 15-by-15-foot screen.

. Due to a conflict in the state’s gaming and harness racing statutes, simulcast wagering won’t be available at the new facility. It will remain at the Bangor Raceway grandstand, which houses the company’s off-track betting operation.

Slated to open in late July, the seven-story 152-room hotel and meeting facilities will include:

. 148 oversized king and double queen rooms and four luxury suites on the top floor.

. The Lancaster Room, which can accommodate 150 meeting and event attendees or be divided in half.

. The Chairman’s Boardroom, with seating for 25.

Both rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, Internet access and full business amenities.

. A fitness center equipped with a range of cardio equipment, strength-training machines and weights.

. A business center with computer access and printing, copying and faxing services.

. Free wireless Internet.

. The gaming and entertainment and hotel and meeting facilities both are served by an attached 1,500-vehicle parking garage.

The fee for parking in the garage is $3 to start and $1 for each hour after that, with a $5 maximum. Parking fees are waived, however, for slots patrons who use their Players Club cards to play for at least 20 minutes. Parking is free for hotel guests and buffet customers. Valet parking services are available for a $6 fee.

Operating hours for the new complex will be as follows:

. Slots: 8 a.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Saturday; noon to 4 a.m., Sunday.

. Hotel: 24 hours.

. Epic Buffet: 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

. Take 2 Snack Bar: 6 a.m.-4 a.m. daily.

. Sound Stage: noon-1 a.m. daily.

. Hollywood Gifts: 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday through Saturday; noon-10 p.m., Sunday.
