Having just finished reading Kathleen Parker’s column about full-blooded Americans, which suggested that they are the ones destined to govern the United States because their forefathers “died for America” and because their God isn’t something that “comes and goes out of fashion,” I have news for her.

The only real and true full-blooded Americans are those Native Americans who fought valiantly for their own land, for their own values and for their own way of life. To deny this is an elitist attitude that Parker mistakenly attributes to the Democratic Party.
