CASTINE – The Wilson Museum is scheduling school and group visits for spring and summer.
The museum offers visits with a focus on many topics, including prehistoric artifacts from North and South America, Europe and Africa; ship models; firearms; ceramics; rocks and minerals; 19th century farm and carpenter tools; and area history. Museum staff members are happy to help tailor a visit to meet any group’s needs.
The museum at 120 Perkins St. will be open every day beginning May 27. A special summer exhibit, “Dr. Stevens: Serving the Community Over 60 Years” features the Castine coins on loan from the Maine Historical Society.
Fall visits may be scheduled as well. To schedule a school or group visit, call 326-9247 or e-mail info@wilsonmuseum.org.
