Bar Harbor Bank & Trust of Ellsworth has hired Craig Worcester as managing director, Ron Hamilton as a financial consultant and Diane Rimm as operations manager of its brokerage and insurance unit, Bar Harbor Financial Services. They join financial consultant Sonya Mitchell, who has been managing the unit in recent years.

Worcester, a graduate of Husson College in Bangor, has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, starting his career in 1983 in the Bangor area with Northwestern Mutual. In 1998 he joined KeyBank as vice president and was responsible for marketing trust and investment services. Three years later, he joined Union Trust to develop Cornerstone Investment Services. Worcester will manage Bar Harbor Financial Services while also working with individuals, business owners and professionals to help them achieve their financial goals. He and his wife, Sally, live in Bangor and have three sons.

For more than 30 years, Hamilton has been a financial adviser in the Ellsworth area. He had a 25-year career with Prudential, providing insurance and investment products and services. In 2001, he joined Cornerstone Investment Services, a division of Union Trust, as a financial consultant. In his new job, Hamilton will provide clients with information to make important financial decisions. He and his wife, Joanne, have a daughter, Kirsten, who works at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.

Rimm started her career in 1980 in the insurance industry, selling life insurance for Prudential in the Bangor area and throughout the state. In 1996 she joined KeyBank as a licensed securities broker. In 2001 she joined Cornerstone Investment Services as operations manager. In her new job, she will answer customers’ questions, place trades and complete essential paperwork. She lives in Eddington with her husband, Mike. She has three children and two grandchildren.
