BANGOR – Police said Sunday they were still investigating a shooting Friday night that left a woman hospitalized.
Police said the 28-year-old woman was shot once sometime after 6 p.m. at an apartment at 513 Hammond St.
The woman was apparently taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in a private vehicle, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not release the name of the woman or the other two people who were involved.
Lt. Tim Reid said the three were acquaintances.
No charges have been filed, but Reid said police will likely discuss the case with a representative of the District Attorney’s Office on Monday.
“We have identified the three people and have interviewed all three,” Reid said. “We did recover a firearm outside.”
