Eurich scores 3 goals, Stearns ties Old Town

MILLINOCKET – Adriana Eurich scored three goals to help the Stearns Minutemen gain a 4-4 double-overtime tie with the Old Town Coyotes in high school field hockey action Tuesday.

Molly Legassie chipped in with a goal for 7-2-1 Stearns. Katie Mills, Becca Leavitt and Mallory Osborne had assists. Melissa Sheridan and Alyssa Beaulieu combined for 20 saves on 24 shots.

Sarah Wilcox scored two goals while Cally Randall had a goal and two assists for 4-4-1 Old Town. Jenna King added a goal and Lindsay St. Louis an assist. Danyle Boobar and Heather Nye combined to make 26 saves on 32 shots.

JV: Stearns 3-0

Mount View 4, MCI 0

At Thorndike, Kristin Massessa scored three goals as Mount View blanked MCI of Pittsfield.

Tessa Mayberry added a goal and Brittany Bowden and Mollie Arute assists for the 7-2 Mustangs. Lyndsey Cronin stopped all three shots she faced.

Kayla Michaud had 11 saves on 15 shots for the 1-8 Huskies.

JV: Mount View 4-1

Camden Hills 2, Nokomis 1

At Newport, Monica Doucette swept home a rebound off a penalty corner with 1:53 left in regulation to give Camden Hills its triumph over Nokomis.

Megan Bauer scored the other goal for 7-1-1 Camden Hills and Dale Winsper made four saves.

Erin Knight scored for 5-5 Nokomis off an Alison Berg assist. Beth Flanders made six saves.

JV: Nokomis 3-1

Skowhegan 4, Bangor 0

At Skowhegan, Sam Gifford scored two goals in the second half to lead Skowhegan by Bangor.

Lorrie Hitz and Caitlyn Lancaster each added a goal for Skowhegan. Megan Hancock and Sam Gray combined to make two saves on two shots for the 7-1 Indians.

Hilary Babin stopped 27 of 31 shots for the 2-6 Rams.
