BANGOR – The Green Acres Kennel Shop, located at 1653 Union St. in Bangor, will be hosting a three-hour puppy and dog training seminar on Saturday, Aug. 4.

The seminar is for humans only and features instruction from Joel Walton, the author of “Positive Puppy Training Works” and co-author of “Labrador Retrievers for Dummies.”

The seminar will address housetraining, play biting, chewing, pulling on leash and polite meeting and greeting.

Seating is limited and reservations can be made by donating $15 a seat to the Bangor Humane Society Shed and Emily Fund. For more information, call 945-6841.
