DEXTER – A local woman suffered a slight injury Sunday when she lost control of her pickup truck and crashed on Route 94, also called Garland Road.

Anita Smith, 53, was driving a 1999 Ford pickup east on Route 94, according to a police report filed by reserve Officer Henry Fortin. She apparently drifted to the right side, overcorrected, lost control and swerved twice across the road, left the road on the right side and struck a culvert, causing her truck to roll over.

The report said Smith hurt her hand but it did not indicate if charges will be filed.
