KaroleAnne Emery
KaroleAnne Emery, a senior forward from Husson College, has been named the North Atlantic Field Hockey Player of the Week. Emery had a hand in all six Husson scores this week with three goals and three assists in two games. In a 4-3 loss at UNE she had a pair of goals and an assist, and in a 3-2 OT win over St. Joseph’s, she had two assists and the game-winning goal.
Alec Brown
The North Atlantic Conference has named UMaine-Farmington forward Alec Brown Rookie of the Week. Brown scored a pair of goals in UM-Farmington’s 3-0 win over Thomas, helping the Beavers secure a home game in the NAC playoffs.
Erin Campbell
Senior midfielder Erin Campbell from UMaine-Farmington has been named the North Atlantic Conference Women’s Soccer co-Player of the Week. Campbell scored a pair of goals in UM-Farmington’s 3-0 win over Thomas.
Amy Young
Amy Young, a freshman middle hitter from Maine Maritime Academy, has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week. Young had 137 total attacks and averaged 2.3 kills per game. Young recorded a school record six blocks in a 3-1 conference victory against Husson.
Anthony D’Alfonso
The Yankee Small College Conference announced Anthony D’Alfonso has been named Baseball Player of the Year. D’Alfonso led the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves with a .550 batting average and 28 RBI.
