‘Micro’ quake felt in Bar Harbor area

BAR HARBOR – A small earthquake was registered about five miles southeast of Bar Harbor early Sunday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The earthquake happened at 5:36 p.m.

The so-called “micro” quake had a preliminary magnitude of 2.9, the USGS said.
