News in brief DEXTER: POLICE INVESTIGATE THREE BREAK-INS

Nothing was reported missing during break-ins on Monday at a storage garage at a local cemetery, a motor vehicle, and a mobile home. Dexter Police Chief Art Roy said the break-ins occurred at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery garage and to a motor vehicle on Fern Road. A side door was forced open at the garage, and the car doors were unlocked. An automatic garage door opener had been inside the vehicle, and the owner reported that his garage door had been opened. A break-in at a mobile home on Keaton Pond Road is under investigation by Officer Kyle Wilson. A front door was forced open to gain entry.
