Does Iraq ring a bell?

Imagine this. President Bush places more value on embryonic stem cells than walking, talking human beings. Should more extensive embryonic stem cell research be voted into legislation, Bush says he will veto it.

Why? Because he does not approve of federal monies being spent to save lives at the expense of destroying lives.

Hello? Does Iraq ring a bell? Is it my imagination, or are we doing just that? Isn’t Bush funding his war with federal monies at the expense of walking, talking human lives, to save lives?

Our men and women are being destroyed to save the lives of many people who don’t want us there anyway. And people who can no longer walk, talk or think are being denied further more comprehensive research that could possibly allow them a better quality of life.

Hypocrisy? In the true context of the word.
