DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Foxcroft Academy board of trustees selected Kenneth A. Hews of Holden, Class of 1965, to serve as a trustee of the academy.

Hews is the executive vice president of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems and president of Rosscare, Affiliated Healthcare Systems and Eastern Maine Charities. He is a member of the board of directors for Husson College and for United Way of Eastern Maine. He also is a member of the Bangor Rotary Club.

The board of trustees also elected Douglas M. Smith as an honorary trustee. Smith has served as a board member for nearly 10 years.
