LEVANT – Incumbents Brent Pullen and Dean Andrews were elected Tuesday to two open seats on the Board of Selectmen during municipal elections.

The votes were as follows: Pullen, 689 votes; Andrews, 623 votes; and newcomer Michael Durgin, 546 votes, according to town officials.

For one open seat on the SAD 23 board of directors, Charles Langbein ran uncontested for the spot vacated by Donald Curtis, who chose not to run after serving nearly 13 years on the board.

Town officials estimated voter turnout Tuesday at 75 percent.
