WALDOBORO – A group supporting SAD 40 will present, for the second year in a row, an all-day festival of music on Saturday.
The Goose River Jam will be staged in the fields outside an 1840s farmhouse near Goose River, 1313 Finntown Road. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, but no coolers or pets.
All proceeds will directly benefit students in SAD 40, which comprises Waldoboro, Warren, Washington, Friendship and Union.
Among performers this year: the Blind Albert Band, the McFravis Family Fiddlers, the Boneheads, bagpiper Avens Ridgeway, Buddy Loveland, the Raging Angels and others.

Gates open at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18. Music will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
