I attended the Fourth of July parade in downtown Bangor and was extremely impressed with District 2 congressional candidate Brian Hamel. He was approachable, enthusiastic and very well spoken. He came across as exactly the type of representative I would like to have in Congress.

Hamel’s business background is also very appealing in contrast with that of a career politician who has spent decades in Augusta. It is refreshing to see an accomplished business leader seeking political office. Hamel has worked side by side with Maine residents, struggling to survive in a poor business climate, and succeeded in creating over 1,000 jobs at the former Loring Air Force Base.

Meeting him was enough to solidify my decision. In November, my vote will go to Hamel.
