Ex-Hope House gets donation from Kings

BANGOR – The Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation has donated $30,000 to the Acadia Recovery Community. The ARC, formerly known as the Hope House, is a program of Acadia Hospital that provides emergency shelter and transitional housing programs for homeless people with drug addictions.

The money will be used to help repair its emergency shelter roof.
