BLUE HILL – The Blue Hill Peninsula Parkinson’s disease support group will hold its monthly meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 15 at Parker Ridge Retirement Community’s Assisted Living Unit dining room.

Karen Dowell, certified fitness instructor, Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, will address the benefits of regular physical activity for those with Parkinson’s and their caregivers, along with demonstrations of easy strength training and stretching exercises. Refreshments will be served.

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month.
