UNION – The Union Historical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Old Town House, Town House Road.
After a short business meeting, Sarah Post of Rockland will present a program on “Conservation of Marine Archaeological Artifacts.” Post, an underwater archaeologist, will discuss the conservation of the material culture associated with shipwrecks and with inundated archaeological sites such as those on the coastline.
