Historical society plans antique show July 14-15

ROCKPORT – The 21st annual Camden-Rockport Historical Society Antiques Show and Sale will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 14-15, at the Rockport Elementary School.

Started and promoted for the last 21 years by John and Liz deSimone of Goosefare Antiques and Promotions, the show has been a key exhibition in Maine for early 18th and 19th century furniture, Americana and accessories.

This year’s show will offer 40 booths from seven states selling antiques in every area of the antiques market.

The Camden-Rockport Historical Society uses the proceeds from the show to help fund its many local projects. Among them is The Conway House, the society’s museum on U.S. Route 1.

Adult admission is $4, and children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
