3 Warren men charged with burglary attempt

WARREN – Three Warren men were charged with the attempted burglary of a Maritime Farms store early Sunday morning.

An alarm alerted the Knox County Sheriff’s Department to the attempted break-in, Chief Deputy Todd Butler said Monday. Sgt. Larry Hesseltine was near the store when the alarm sounded, and he approached the store and saw the three men flee into nearby woods.

Maine State Police Trooper Terry Michaud assisted with a tracking dog, and the men were apprehended. Charged were Justin Perrin, 20, his brother Michael Perrin, 19, and Jeremiah Aldrich.

The three were also issued summonses for criminal mischief, Butler said.
