PITTSFIELD – Daniel A. Reposa, 24, of Dexter was arrested Friday night for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants after the car he was driving left the road in Pittsfield.
According to Pittsfield police Sgt. Tim Roussin, Reposa was operating a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire four-door sedan on Somerset Avenue when he failed to negotiate a turn onto Interstate 95 southbound.
Reposa reportedly turned left onto the southbound on-ramp and failed to negotiate the curve of the road, leaving the left-hand side of the ramp, ending up in the snowbank.
The car had about $1,500 in damage, Roussin said. No one was injured and no other cars were involved. Reposa was released on bail from the Pittsfield police station.
