BANGOR – Penquis CAP has announced addition of two full-time lawyers to its Law Project, increasing the help available to domestic violence victims. Mary Cline and Brian Molloy will provide civil legal assistance to battered women in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties.

The positions are funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Violence Against Women Office, Civil Legal Assistance program. The addition to the staff is part of the Law Project’s effort to increase access to civil legal services for low- and moderate-income individuals and families.
