Thousands grateful for fund

The Santa’s Helper Fund now stands at $42,000, just $8,000 short of its goal. These final days of the year 2000 will decide the outcome of this year’s charity. Regardless of the monetary result, thousands of people in the region will benefit from the generosity of contributors, volunteers and Salvation Army staff.
