Colby thumps Gordon

WATERVILLE – Sarah Walsh pumped in 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds Thursday night to lead the White Mules to an 86-52 women’s basketball victory over Gordon College of Wenham, Mass.

Colby’s Kim Condon scored 16 points. Jasmine Ashe and Carli Parisella added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Lisa Memmen paced Gordon with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Amanda Kimball paced Southern Maine with a game-high 24 points. Megan Cressler netted 15 points and Erin Shaw added 12.

Ricky Sirois had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Nor’easters of Biddeford. Nyaten Gaye finished with 11 points.
