Tech center students elected to state offices

DEXTER – Three students from Tri-County Technical Center have been elected to student organization state offices.

Jennifer Duplisea of Penquis Valley High School in Milo has been elected treasurer of the Maine Chapter of the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America.

Amber Hembree-Cooper of Dexter Regional High School has been elected vice president of the State of Maine Chapter of the Health Occupations Students of America.

Alyssa Emery of Dexter Regional High School has been elected historian for the State of Maine Chapter of the Health Occupations Students of America.

HOSA and VICA are national organizations that promote the professional development of vocational technical students. State officers will attend regular business meetings and develop leadership skills while conducting the business of the state organizations.
