BANGOR – Mike Bonelli hit a two-run homer and singled to lead Cromwell, Conn., to a 10-5 victory over South Portland Tuesday in the Senior League New England Regional at Mansfield Stadium.
The victory forces a second New England Senior League (ages 15-16) championship game Wednesday at 2 p.m.
For Cromwell, Scott Ekstrom had three singles while John Pember, A.J. Harringer, and Mark Linquist each singled twice.
Brian Guillereault singled twice to pace South Portland. Andrew Ward, Jameson Skillings and Josh Card each doubled.

At Westbrook, Nate Guerette ripped a two-run home run in the sixth inning to help Auburn come from behind against Cape Elizabeth in the State Little League (ages 11-12) Tournament.
Ryan Gross tallied the winning RBI single for Auburn while Kyle Giguerre doubled and singled.
Both Joel Balfour and Kyle Dancause added singles to pace the Cape Elizabeth attack.
