Key players: Maine – LW-C Cory Larose (11 & 23), LW Barrett Heisten (11 & 15), C Ben Guite (12 & 9), C Brendan Walsh (5 & 15), D Doug Janik (6 & 10), D Peter Metcalf (3 & 10), G Matt Yeats (9-4-3, 2.79 goals-against average, .899); UNH – RW Darren Haydar (18 & 14), LW Mike Souza (9 & 19), C John Sadowski (8 & 12), C Corey-Joe Ficek (10 & 6), RW Jason Shipulski (7 & 8), D Dan Enders (2 & 6), G Ty Conklin (17-3-5, 2.52, .908)

Outlook: The Bears are 1-4-1 in their last six and virtually all of their veteran forwards are mired in goal-scoring slumps. UNH is 0-1-4 in its last five after Friday’s 2-2 home tie with Merrimack. Maine must control the Souza-Matt Swain-Haydar line and will have to take the raucous crowd out of it by playing tenacious in-your-face defense and jumping in front. Maine has fallen behind 2-0 or 3-1 in five of its last six games. UNH is 9-1-4 at home on its Olympic-sized ice sheet, 8-0-4 in its last 12. UNH has scored eight shorthanded goals.
