At Guilford, Jen Raymond scored a game-high 17 points to power Stearns past Piscataquis Community High School for its first win.
Nola Boynton had 10 points and Nicole Duplisea added nine for the winners. Boynton and Duplisea had six points apiece in the second quarter when Stearns outscored PCHS 24-4 to break the game open.

At Sukee Arena in Winslow, Ryan Largay and Will Prescott notched a goal and an assist apiece as the Witches knocked Lawrence of Fairfield from the ranks of the unbeaten.
Josh Caldwell and Aaron Saunders each tallied a goal for the 2-4 Witches. Jeremiah Richter and Josh Kochis contributed assists and Justin Boober made 24 stops on 26 shots.
Will Richard and Nick Porto scored the goals for the 4-1 Bulldogs. Chris Warren and Caleb Richard added assists. Everett Flannery made 28 saves on 32 shots.

At John Millar Arena in Houlton, Mario Villani scored two goals and David Faulhaber and Derek Belair notched a goal and an assist each as the Black Bears posted the win.
Ian Harger added an assist for Maranacook of Readfield. Matt Zen made 31 saves in net.
Jeremy London converted a Michael Sussman feed into the goal for the Blackhawks. Brandon Carmichael made 17 saves on 21 shots.
