BANGOR — “Picnic in the Park,” an evening of fun, food and fellowship for the neighborhood and extended neighborhood of the Broadway Park area will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at the playground side of Broadway Park.

Games for kids of all ages will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Some will be provided, but people are encouraged to bring any game they would like to play. Chips, drinks and cookies will be provided at 5:30 p.m. for people, and a brief meeting to share ideas and concerns about the neighborhood will take place at 6:15 p.m.
