ST. ALBANS — Sheriff’s deputies arrested a St. Albans man and four juveniles early Sunday after a fight at a camp off Pond Road.
Curtis Sheridan, 19, was charged with aggravated assault, burglary and criminal mischief, said Somerset County Deputy Tom Rourke.
Sheridan was taken to the county jail, where he remained Sunday night in lieu of $25,000 cash or one piece of property worth $50,000.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. when a car pulled up to the camp and at least four teen-agers got out and stormed the building. About 15 other people, most of them juveniles, were sleeping inside. A party had occurred there the night before.
Details remained sketchy Sunday evening, but Rourke said at least one person who invaded the camp had a baseball bat.
Three people — Sheridan and two teen-agers — were taken to Redington-Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan, where they were treated for their injuries, then released, authorities said.
Four of the juveniles involved face charges that include burglary, criminal mischief and criminal threatening, Rourke said.
He said his investigation continues, and more charges could be filed.
