Ketterer files complaint against Bangor man

AUGUSTA — Attorney General Andrew Ketterer filed an enforcement action this week under the Maine Civil Rights Act against Jeffrey G. Hewey of Bangor for threatening four anti-abortion protesters in Bangor.

The attorney general’s complaint alleged that on Oct. 21, four protesters were holding signs and praying outside the Mabel Wadsworth Women’s Health Center in Bangor. Hewey drove by the four men and allegedly shaped his right hand to look like a gun and pretended to shoot the protesters while he stared at them.
