Clawson’s clutch free throws lift Ponies

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Justin Clawson hit two clutch free throws at the end of the game put Foxcroft past Stearns 66-65 in schoolboy basketball action Thursday.

Clawson finished with 10 points. Andy Lizotte paced the winners with 16 points while Mike Grant added 15. Dustin Lander scored 11.

Matt Ayotte tossed in 16 points for Stearns of Millinocket. Ben Lankhorst netted 14 and Charlie Fling chipped in with 10.
