MACHIAS — The state Department of Marine Resources will hold meetings to discuss issues regarding the periwinkle and scallop industries.

The periwinkle meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in room 102 of the science building at the University of Maine at Machias.

The scallop meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
