ROCKLAND — The Coastal Community Action Program is initiating a Community-Building Task Force. CCAP invites local community members and leaders from Waldo and Knox counties and the islands of Islesboro, North Haven and Vinalhaven to come together in order to expand on existing strengths, skills and assets. The overall object of the task force will be to develop community links, build opportunities and enrich the quality of life for all residents.

The first meeting of the task force will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 4 Union St. For more information call Larraine Brown at 338-2734.
