Grover leads Bucks past Trojans

BUCKSPORT – Christy Grover connected for a game-high 23 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and blocked six shots Wednesday night as Bucksport knocked off Mount Desert Island 53-48 in schoolgirl basketball action.

Kelly Downes scored eight of her 14 points in the fourth quarter for Bucksport.

Crystal Graves and Melissa Gott each scored 13 points to pace Mount Desert Island.
