‘Jammers win 14th in a row

CAMDEN – Jon Masin-Peters scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead undefeated Camden-Rockport to a 71-60 victory over Winslow Tuesday night.

Jim Wilson added 10 points for the Windjammers, who remain unbeaten for the season.

Ryan Plisga fired in 21 points to lead Winslow while Todd Carter added 10.

At H.O. Bouchard Arena, Adam Sewell notched a hat trick and added an assist to power the Red Riots to their 12th win against one loss.

Noah Lundey recorded a goal and an assist and Tom Hite notched a goal to secure the win.

Shane Rivers earned the win, making 15 saves on 17 shots.

Brothers Sean and Scott Tardiff fueled the Broncos with Sean scoring Hampden’s first goal off an assist from Scott and Scott knocking in the next goal off his brother’s assist.

Brian Cataldo stopped 33 of 38 shots for Hampden, now 2-8.

Portland 5, Bangor 1

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, five players scored a goal as Portland rolled.

Craig Candage, J.D. Walker, and Mike Murphy each scored a second-period goals for the 6-5 winners. Murdoch Walker and Brad Keites each netted insurance goals in the third period, and goalie Steve Pells saved 24 of 25 shots.

Andy Sumner tallied to cut the score to 2-1 in the second period for Bangor. Sumner was assisted by David Lisnik and Tom Carey. Goalie Jason Tuck recorded 21 saves on 26 shots.
