So now Indeck president Tom Campone is willing to provide power to Bangor Hydro “at cost”! It seems to me that 4.1 cents per kilowatt-hour is a very premium fee, but at least it is considerably less than the “gouge price.”
Didn’t Indeck Maine Energy cry for a lower property valuation in Jonesboro? At 4.1 cents per kilowatt-hour, Indeck ought to be able to pay their property taxes and still make a nice profit for Indeck Energy Service, Ill., and the Ridgewood Corp., N.J., with bonuses for their respective presidents — Tom Campone and Robert Swanson. Can we afford their offer? John S. Kennedy Addison
