It is time someone spoke out in defense of the SAD 25 school board. There seems to be an unfairness here, with accusations and innuendos around town about these people.
This board has spent countless hours trying to run our schools and trying to determine the best course we should take as a district. I, fr one, am not going to second-guess their decisions. I am convinced that they are trying to do the best for all of us, educating our children at a price we can afford.
They have taken the time to be elected to the school board and served us many hours — we should thank them and tell them we are grateful for their efforts.
If some of us are so smart, why are we not on the school board? John G. Mooney Patten
