UMPI rally nips Husson

PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine-Presque Isle Owls overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat Husson College 74-72 in men’s college basketball action Wednesday night.

Matt Townsend led UMPI with 16 points, while Brian Colman tossed in 15, Jeffrey Joseph pumped in 12 and Robert Andersson added 10.

Chris Funk and Sean Foye led Braves of Bangor with 14 each, while Brad Olson contributed 12 and Giovanni Cotto added 10.
