College KIM CONDON

WATERVILLE – Kim Condon of Presque Isle, a freshman guard on the Colby College women’s basketball team, has been named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 12. Condon is averaging 22 points per game for the 5-3 White Mules.

KEN ALLEN

WATERVILLE – Ken Allen of Monson, a sophomore guard at Colby College, has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Allen scored 13 straight points to start the second half and lead the Mules to a victory over William Paterson College in the championship game of the Colby Winter Basketball Classic. He finished with 32 points.
