DEXTER — Like many other towns and cities in the state, Dexter now has its own Web site that features information from town government and organizations.
Judy Craig Consulting of Dexter created the site, which offers a host of information relating to municipal, school and business affairs with a historical flair.
The goal of the site, according to Judy Craig, company owner, is to create a positive global presence for the town as well as provide residents with a directory of town, business, and school news and services.
Visitors this month are greeted by a home page featuring a photo from the Dexter Historical Society of a scene from downtown Dexter of the 1906 Christmas parade. The picture is changed periodically to include other photos from the past, and each photo is accompanied by a snippet of the event’s place in Dexter history.
The Web site can be found at www.dextermaine.org.
