Biddeford police link ring to $40,000 in thefts

BIDDEFORD — Police say they have broken up a burglary ring responsible for the theft of more than $40,000 in cash, jewelry and firearms from a dozen homes and businesses.

Six men and a handful of juveniles from Biddeford, Saco and Arundel have been arrested on charges ranging from residential burglary to cocaine possession, police said.

Additional charges were anticipated, and police have issued arrest warrants for juveniles and adults still at large, Detective Terry Davis said.
