EAST MACHIAS – Heather Sprague scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Woodland past Washington Academy 54-51 in a schoolgirl basketball game Wednesday.
Sprague had 11 of her points in the second half and Woodland held off the Raiders by hitting eight of its 12 free throw attempts in the fourth quarter.
