VAN BUREN – Ben Bouchard scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Madawaska Owls to a 4-0 schoolboy soccer victory over the Van Buren Crusaders Tuesday.
Ben Marshall and Andrew Clavette scored the other goals for 8-4 Madawaska, and Ben Jardine had a pair of assists. Goalie Shawn Pelletier made six saves on 10 shots.
Nathan Marquis stopped 17 of 26 shots for the Crusaders, 8-2-2.
Islesboro 2, Vinalhaven 1
At Islesboro, Mike Welldon scored the game-winner unassisted with 11:41 left in the game.
Ryan Grindle opened the scoring off an assist from Derek Johnson, while Steven Shand stopped six of 14 shots for 6-3 Islesboro.
Chris Guptill stopped 16 of 28 shots for 2-7-1 Vinalhaven.

At Hinckley, Randy Mailloux scored a first-half goal off a pass from Ramon Cales. Timm Goodwin saved seven of 11 shots for 8-4 Averill.
Nic Parker made 17 saves off 24 shots for 1-6-1 East Grand of Danforth.

At Bingham, Justin Schanck scored two goals and added an assist to lead Richmond.
Nate Bodge added a goal and Matt Pelletier saved six of seven shots for the 10-1 winners.
Chris Willer made 18 saves on 30 shots for 1-8-1 Valley of Bingham.

At Greenville, Jason Searles scored a goal and notched an assist for the winners.
Charles Bradford and Tom Deming each had goals for the 3-3-3 winners. Hans Breton and Matt Driscoll each added an assist and Josh Glavine made two saves.

Tiffany Nelson, Noelle Bosse, and Jenny Boucher each scored one goal for Madawaska. Bosse, Boucher, and Pelletier had one assist each and Erin Pelletier had two. Goalie Stephanie Graham stopped three shots.
Hope Ouellette and Nicole Parker combined for 20 saves on 32 shots for 6-5-1 Van Buren.

At Calais, Lindsay Dupere scored for Bangor Christian and Stephanie Demmons equalized it for Calais.
Stephanie Reagon stopped 14 of 17 shots for 6-4-1 BC. Rachael Clark stopped 12 of 15 shots for 3-4-2 Calais.

At Sherman Station, Erin Johnston netted two goals and an assist to lead 9-1-1 Schenck.
Erica Franck and Kasey Wyman each had a goal for the winners. Nicole Brown and Beth Clukey each added an assist. Emily Davis saved nine of 10 shots.
Gwen Pocock scored a goal and Mann made two saves on nine shots for 3-7 Katahdin.

At Old Town, Kalina Cuarisma converted a Kristen Tracewski assist 4:37 into the game to power the Indians.

GSA 2, Sumner 1
At Blue Hill, Caddy Jackson’s penalty kick tied it with 3:17 left in regulation and that set the stage for Sara Haney’s game-winner 2:30 later.
Jackson’s penalty kick followed a handball call.
Shortly afterward, Haney ran on to a flick-on pass to the far post by Anna Bishop and she directed it into the vacant corner from point-blank range. Kristen Hewitt also assisted on the goal.
Sammy Scott scored for Sumner off a Karrie Willey assist.
Dawn Robertson made three saves on four shots for 4-4-2 GSA while Marita Buteau rejected 11 of 26 shots for 2-10 Sumner.
