ORONO – Orono High School freshman Matt Hedrick will be heading to Prague, Czech Republic, this August to play hockey. Hedrick has been named to the American All-Stars, a Select 14 team from Commack, N.Y.

The team will be heading to the Czech Hockey Challenge Cup 97 to play against teams from the Czech Republic, Russia and Germany. The American All-Stars are the only team from the United States in the tournament. They will also be touring Zurich, Switzerland, and Munich, Germany.
