BANGOR — An Old Town man was in Bangor District Court Monday to face charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

Scott Chabot, 25, was charged with the Class C crime after police responded to a domestic assault call at approximately 7 p.m. last Friday.

According to the Old Town Police Department report, the weapon used was an electric circular saw.

Chabot’s bail was set at $10,000 on Monday.
