WINSLOW – Chris Bushnell scored on a one-yard dive on a 4th-and-goal play in the fourth quarter as Hampden came from behind to earn a 20-14 LTC schoolboy football win over Messalonskee on Saturday.
Derek Dubois scored on a 37-yard run after he took the ball from a halfback while tackling him to make it 14-12.
Bushnell paced Hampden with 72 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Senior quarterback Dustin Campbell completed 5-of-7 passes for 51 yards, including a 37-yard pass to Trevor Bristol to set up the game-winning score.

At Bangor, Ian Morrill and Pat Libby each scored a goal to lift the Greenville Lakers to victory.
Josh Glavine made seven saves on nine shots to preserve the shutout for the 5-3 Lakers.
For Bangor Christian, now 5-3, Josh Ouellette made 12 saves on 15 shots.
Caribou 4, Nokomis 1
At Caribou, Jeremy Guerrette had two goals to lead the Vikings, who fired 35 shots on goalie Nick Wallace. Ryan Soucie added a goal and an assist and Brad Holabird had the other score for 5-2-2 Caribou. Goalies Jason St. Peter and Danny Funk combined to stop four of seven.
Josh Harris scored for 1-5-1 Nokomis and Wallace made 14 saves.
John Bapst 2, Foxcroft 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Vanessa Moore scored on a Katie Coleman assist 1:29 into overtime to boost the Crusaders to the win.
Coleman also assisted on Karen Nadeau’s goal with 28 minutes left in the second half for 4-3-1 John Bapst of Bangor. Edythe Dyer made nine saves on 10 shots.
Davan Clawson tied the game with 18 minutes remaining in the second half with her unassisted goal for 4-4-1 Foxcroft Academy.
Old Town 1, Nokomis 0
At Old Town, Karen Oliver beat Nokomis goalie Jill Oliver off a feed from Lisa Dyment as the 6-2 Indians edged the 4-3 Warriors.
Audrey Brissette was a flawless four of four in net for Old Town.
Oliver stopped five of 10 for Nokomis of Newport.

At Belfast, the Lions torched the nets seven times on Mustang goalie Ellen Ward to earn the victory.
Tanya Flood scored twice to lead Belfast as Virginia Catlin, Darci Brown, Niki Phillips, Liz Kelley, and Sarah Annis all added a goal apiece. Katie Small faced no shots.
Ward rejected 22 of 29 for 0-7 Mount View of Thorndike.

At Bucksport, Trish Beaulieu netted two goals to power the 7-1 Bucks.
Jessica Gordon, Kara Henderson, and Arron Curtis each added a goal for Bucksport as goalie Kelly Downes made nine saves on 10 shots.
Katie Lawler turned back six of 11 shots for 1-5-1 John Bapst of Bangor.

Heidi Niles scored for 3-4-1 Bangor Christian as Regan rejected 17 of the 18 Laker shots.

At Orono, Molly Holmberg scored off an assist by Megan Westhoven 7:47 into the first half to account for the game’s only goal.
Sue Gardner made four saves on as many shots to backstop the win for the Red Riots.
Pam Poland registered 10 saves on 13 shots for Hermon.
MDI 1, Dexter 0
At Dexter, Shelagh Slack connected on a direct kick with 12:55 to play, lifting Mount Desert Island to its seventh victory without a loss.
Lacey Richards made five saves on 12 shots for the Trojans.
Kim Breton came up with 17 saves on 24 shots for 2-4-2 Dexter.
Old Town 7, Foxcroft 1
At Old Town, Jody Kenniston collected four goals and assisted on two others to power the Indians.
Kenniston scored two goals in each half for 5-2-1 Old Town. Jessy Madden and Kristen Tracewski contributed one goal and one assist each, Jessica Bosse scored once, and Emily Oliver provided an assist.
Kendra Brown and Justine Ferland combined to make six saves on nine shots.
Sherrie Zimmerman made 19 saves on 34 shots for 2-5 Foxcroft.
