DEXTER – Aaron Sargent and Travis Carr each stroked a two-run single as Dexter rallied for six runs in the third inning and went on to post a 7-3 win over Hermon in schoolboy baseball action Friday afternoon.
Lonnie Levensalor added a double and a single for the winners.
Adam Hunt had three singles for Hermon. John Schoppe added a pair of singles and an RBI.

At Harrington, sophomore Mike Worcester drove in seven runs out of the ninth spot in the order as the Knights downed Machias.
Worcester had two bases-loaded doubles and a single. Mickey Willey added a triple and two singles, while Robbie Worcester had a double and a single. Adam Meyer struck out eight in five innings for the Knights.
Bobby Stevens ripped a three-run homer and a single for Machias.

At Belfast, Craig Bouchard slugged a two-run homer and hit three singles to help the Lions earn a win.

At Milo, the Cougars of Sherman Station spoiled the debut of the Patriots’ new home field by taking advantage of seven errors to pick up seven unearned runs.
Luke Cullins rapped a triple and two singles and knocked in a pair of runs to pace the Cougars. Willie Sleeper added two singles and two RBI. Richard Schmidt went the distance for the win, striking out nine.
For Penquis, Mike Harris hit two doubles and a single and knocked in two runs, Mark Dellirlo contributed a double and two singles, and Jason Heal had two singles and two RBI.
